What are the Philly Geek Awards?
The Philly Geek Awards are an awards ceremony honoring outstanding achievements in Philadelphia’s vibrant geek community. It was founded by Geekadelphia in 2011 and in 2016 Technical.ly and Generocity joined. This year’s awards will be taking place at the Free Library of Philadelphia. It’s a black tie, red carpet event.
When are ticket sales? Where do I buy them?
Mark your calendar, set an alarm, because ticket sales begin Friday, September 23 at 10:00 a.m. ET. You can purchase tickets at www.phillygeekawards.com, processed through Ticketleap.
How much are tickets?
$40 per person.
What does that include?
Your ticket includes entrance to a sensational black-tie event, plus:
- a 90-minute welcome reception from 6:30 p.m., with an open bar, and light snacks
- access to the Free Library after hours, where you and your best-dressed friends can explore special exhibits created specifically for the awards.
